A month of thanks giving....

...and a lot of people on Facebook are posting what they are thankful for each day and as I thought it was a good idea, I opted out just because I'm not very consistent with anything these days but I do think about what I'm thankful for each and every day so on this post, I'll just mention a few, the first one being "date night" and more importantly, someone to do "date night" with.....

Randy is good to think of fun things to do and things to show me. Last night we drove to Sutter Creek and Jackson and enjoyed the old town atmosphere of these old mining towns here in Northern California then enjoyed the seafood buffet at the casino in Jackson...and of course, ate far too much. I don't know that I've ever seen a full rainbow and my camera phone couldn't capture it exactly but I was thankful to be there at the moment and see how beautiful it was. We are thankful, as well for the rain in this dry area....
Earlier this past week, I was going to start doing my gratitude post but never did get around to it and I was especially thankful that day for the smell of homemade bread again in my house. I decided to try whole wheat and it was delish........I gotta give credit to my 30 year old Bosch.....best investment ever.
One last item..... I get the "Daily Motivator" from a cousin every day and most of the time, I read them and enjoy them but every once in a while, one just hits home to what I need for the day so I'm going to share a portion of today's....."Let the world be the way it is, and let yourself see the possibilities. Embrace the reality of what is, and make use of it to create positive value. Choose to be fully at peace with the way things are. From that peaceful, powerful perspective, you can make things better and better."

Thanks mom. I'm glad you have someone to do date night with cause that is one thing I too am truly grateful for.

Still loving your blog! I saw my first full rainbow this year just standing on my front steps! There is a lot of beauty all around us, wherever we are!

I didn't mean for that to be anonymous but when I don't comment for a long time I forget how to do it!
