It's your birthday. This is my "drop-dead gorgeous" friend Phyllis. She had just returned from a 2-week trip to Japan when we dragged her to Texas with us for a friend's week-end so it's no wonder that she's a bit on the sleepy side but she held up really well and we all had a
great time. She and I go waaay back from 4-H club to college roommates and now to life-long BFFs. She's the epitome of graciousness, a very private person living a pretty public life and she does it extraordinarily well, I must say.
